About me
I love plants, wildlife, and making people happy. So, working within horticulture and garden design - a sphere where both people and wildlife can flourish – is wonderful.
Whilst working as an RHS Level 2 qualified gardener for private clients, I continued to develop my practical skills by volunteering at Highgrove and at a community growing project with Avon Wildlife Trust. I have also worked on show gardens alongside exceptional teams at BBC Gardener’s World Live in 2022 and 2023, with both gardens winning Platinum and Best in Show.
Having decided to pursue my dream of becoming a garden designer, I studied at the Garden Design School - run by internationally acclaimed garden designer Robin Templar Williams - where I was coached by him and other leading practitioners within garden design and construction. Graduating with a distinction, I set up my Garden Design business.
My practical gardening experience informs my designs, as does my desire to create beautiful gardens that exceed expectations and offer elegant solutions.
Ten years of experience as an English teacher, where I held several positions of educational responsibility, has honed my communication skills and fine-tuned my ability to manage complex projects. This, my carefully crafted designs, and dedication to every aspect of a project results in a reassuringly professional but personal service.
If you would like me to help you transform your garden into a space you adore, I would love to hear from you.
I am a Bristol-based designer working within the city, across the counties of Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, and also in South Wales.
I am happy to travel further upon request.
